About this directory

This directory is produced as part of an independent expert study for the European Commission titled "Venture Builders Action Mapping & Guidance Expert Study", under the EU Startup and Scaleup Strategy, 2026.

The directory covers venture builder organisations globally, with a particular depth of coverage on Europe. Non-European builders are included as reference examples where they are globally significant to the field.

A venture builder is a dedicated organisational unit that creates new companies through active co-founding involvement from the pre-formation stage, holding a value-capture stake across a portfolio of ventures built using a systematic, repeatable process.

Only verified organisations are shown. The database is updated on a rolling basis as verification is completed.
